A lot has happened since we postponed the March 24 Northeast Epicor User Group meeting in Milford MA. .
We are now going to host a virtual meeting on May 14 with that same agenda.
There is no cost to attend, and it is open to all members of the EUG, not just the NEUG.
8:30 Welcome and Company Profiles – Learn about Hubbardton Forge how they use Epicor by Maggie Brown
9:00 Epicor Mobile Warehouse - In depth look at the EMW Kinetic framework options for MES functionality using Kinetic MES, Classic MES, Android or Windows Browser connection to the Kinetic MES, and the Android OS EMW app. Also show how PCID is incorporated into EMW. Presentation and Demonstration by Steve Duralde, Supply Chain Execution Program Manager at Epicor.
10:00 DocStar ECM Sales Order Automation - New feature that uses Intelligent Data Capture (IDC) to automatically capture and extract structured data, such as a customer's past purchases from the company, as well as unstructured data such as written communications. Demo by Eric McCracken.
11:00 Advanced Print Routing (APR) This relatively new feature of baseline E10 allows any report to have a custom workflow to send documents with or without attachments to any internal or external recipient. We will show examples of how NEUG members are using this feature now. Bring your own samples to show off some more.
12:00 Lunch Break – Stick around and chat with others, ask questions, or tell us about your awesome home office
1:00 SSRS Reporting - Deep dive into SSRS capabilities and implementation. Mark Jensen from Epicor University will review the basics of modifying standard and BAQ based SSRS reports. Then users will share some of their best and most useful reports (everyone should bring at least one to show off). Finally, question and answer time will allow you to finally get that bothersome SSRS issue resolved (or at least discussed).
2:30 EUG Member Brainstorming – Open discussion of any topic. Bring your issues and discuss among the group. Examples include Alerts, Best KPIs, MRP issues, BAQ, BPM or Dashboard, Costing, Financial reporting, operations reporting, quoting. Anything that has you stumped.
The afternoon of this meeting will lean heavily on user participation. All attendees are encouraged to bring samples of SSRS reports and APR workflows that are in use at your company. There are so many unique ways to use these reporting tools, and we want to see some of them. And then, anyone with any unsolved issue, big or small, should bring a concise description to the brainstorming session to mine the collective wisdom of the group. Send your samples to Keith Cote kcote@UFPT.com
